جمعه عجیب، داستان دختر نوجوانی است که با مادرش اختلاف نظر زیادی داره و همیشه با هم در حال بحث و جدل هستند و هیچکدوم نمی‌تونن دنیای دیگری رو بفهمن؛ تا اینکه در یک روز جمعه عجیب و غریب، بنا به یه اتفاق جادویی بدن‌هاشون با هم عوض می‌شه و مجبور می‌شن به جای همدیگر زندگی کنن و این به هرکدوم درک بهتری از زندگی دیگری می‌ده.
هرچند که مخاطب اصلی فیلم رو باید نوجوانان به حساب آورد ولی دیگران هم فکر می‌کنم از دیدنش لذت ببرند. بازی‌ها قابل قبولند و فیلمنامه منطقی و روانه و پره از موقعیت‌ها و دیالوگ‌های خنده دار و بانمک.
من فیلم کمدی خیلی دوست دارم ولی متاسفانه بیشتر فیلم‌های کمدی آمریکایی زیاده از حد کلیشه‌ای، کشدار، لوس، و غیرقابل تحمل‌اند. برای همین هم از دیدن جمعه عجیب که کاملا سرگرم‌کننده و خوش‌ساخته، خیلی ذوق کردم و بهم چسبید. دوست داشتید، امتحانش کنید.
